divh2Certified Medication Aide/h2pThe Certified Medication Aide (CMA) provides routine daily nursing care and medication administration for residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative support. This role is carried out in line with established procedures and under the guidance of the supervising nurse./ppResponsibilities:/pulliMedication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, monitor residents for any side effects, and promptly report concerns to nursing staff./liliDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of medication administration and document any changes in residents conditions./liliRegulatory Compliance: Follow state regulations and facility policies to ensure medication safety and adherence to proper procedures./liliAdditional Responsibilities: Assist with laundry as needed and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/liliInventory Management: Assist in maintaining medication supplies and report shortages or discrepancies as needed./liliResident Care: Support daily resident care routines, including personal care and housekeeping assistance./liliTeam Collaboration: Assist in the orientation and development of new CMAs and CNAs./liliObservation and Reporting: Observe residents conditions and report relevant information; review care plans daily for any updates./liliSafety and Cleanliness: Conduct safety surveys, keep resident rooms tidy, and ensure linens are replaced as needed./liliResponse to Requests: Promptly respond to resident call lights, addressing needs in a timely and appropriate manner./liliProfessionalism and Confidentiality: Professionally conduct self, maintain confidentiality of resident care information, and adhere to facility policies./liliAttendance and Appearance: Follow the dress code and provide notice for any absences or tardiness./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred./liliExperience: Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred./liliCertification: Completion of a Certified Medication Aide program; must meet state-required continuing education requirements./liliSkills: Strong knowledge of nursing practices, with clinical competency in medication administration and infection control procedures./liliLanguage: Ability to read, speak, and write in English./liliTraining: Completion of a minimum of 12 hours of in-service education annually required./li/ulpBenefits (Must be a Full-Time employee for 90 days):/pulliPaid Time Off/liliPaid Holidays/liliMedical Insurance/liliDental Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliLife Insurance/liliDisability/liliCritical Illness Accident Coverage/liliLegal ID Theft/liliEducation Assistance/liliReferral Programs employees and residents/liliRent Discount/liliWorkers Comp (If applicable)/liliZayZoon - access 50% earned wages anytime/li/ulpIntegrated Real Estate Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
