School Health Aide & Safety Coordinator

Applications are being accepted for a 7‑hour per day Health Paraprofessional position at Betz Elementary School. The candidate must have or be able to obtain certification in first aid/CPR on an ongoing basis. Duties include: providing immediate physical assistance to children with emergency health needs, dispensing medications, and performing general office duties. Candidates must have accurate record‑keeping, organizational, and communication skills. The ability to work with students is essential. Additional duties include scheduling health screenings and other responsibilities related to the physical care and safety of students. Required qualifications: the applicant must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others, with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned for the duration of the assignment.
