Exciting ICU RN Opportunity in San Antonio, TX!

Job Description:


- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Unit: ICU (650)
- Shift Schedule:
- 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Weekend Rotating required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Unit Highlights:
- Number of Beds:
- 14 ICU
- 20 Med/Surg
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:2 in ICU
- 1:5 in Med/Surg
- Unit Staffing:
- 1 PCA
- 1 UC
- Type of Equipment: Standard

Special Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in ICU
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke certification
- Experience with vasopressors

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills:
- Meditech experience

Licensing:
- Active Texas RN License required (Temporary Licenses are not accepted)

Procedures Performed:
- Critical Care procedures

Dress Code:
- Scrubs: Navy scrub top and pants; Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
- Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited
