Certified Nursing Assistant Non-exempt; Full-time Day Shift $18.08 - $21.70 Department Med-Surg Job Title Certified Nursing Assistant Status Non- exempt; Full-time Hours Day Shift Salary Range $18.08 - $21.70 (based on experience) Description Pana Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused individual to serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This position plays an important role in supporting our nursing team and providing quality, hands-on care to patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, vital signs, and other basic patient-care needs while promoting patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety. Salary Range $18.08 - $21.70 (based on experience) Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing and without disciplinary action. Current CPR certification. Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and protect PHI. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ability to lift and carry and perform medium to heavy physical work. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching. Ability to push carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment. Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when required.
