NOW HIRING: Laundry Attendants – Hospital Laundry

Location: Shelbyville, KY 
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

TRG Staffing Solutions is currently hiring  Laundry Attendants to work in a hospital laundry environment. This position is responsible for processing, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and preparing hospital linens and other laundry items for distribution.

This is a physically active work environment. Associates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, handling large volumes of laundry, and lifting and moving laundry throughout the shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Sort hospital linens, towels, gowns, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
• Load and unload commercial washers and dryers.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fold, organize, and prepare clean linens for distribution.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or quality issues.
• Separate clean and soiled laundry and follow proper handling procedures.
• Move laundry carts and materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry work area.
• Follow all hospital, safety, operational, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with general laundry and facility duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Associates will work in a hospital laundry setting.
• The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Associates are expected to follow all required hygiene and safety procedures.
• This is an active work environment requiring consistent physical activity throughout the shift.

Who We’re Looking For

• Dependable and punctual individuals who can consistently work the scheduled Wednesday through Saturday shift.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry and laundry carts as required.
• Comfortable working around hospital linens and following proper handling procedures.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospital, healthcare, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistent productivity.
