We are seeking a driven candidate who can focus on closing deals and making money! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing service operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring that all services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery. Supervise and train service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Oversee customer interactions, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process. Implement upselling strategies to promote additional services and products to customers. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating and service writing. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate with other departments to optimize vehicle repair processes, including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage financial aspects of the service department. Requirements Proven experience in dealership settings or auto service management is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients. Familiarity with sales techniques related to automotive services. Ability to effectively manage a team of technicians while promoting a positive work environment. Knowledge of various automotive systems including air brakes and general vehicle maintenance practices. Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
