Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Aide to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie, a premier nursing and rehabilitative care facility in Glen Burnie, Maryland. As an Activities Aide , you will play a vital role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents, enhancing their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement recreational programs and activities to promote resident engagement, socialization, and cognitive stimulation

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify resident needs and preferences, and develop activities that cater to their interests

• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources, vendors, and volunteers to enhance programming and services

• Manage and coordinate logistics for events, outings, and special activities

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activities, and assessments

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred
