Job Description
The CDL Driver - Low Boy is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of low boy and flatbed trailers on local and regional routes. This role involves securing loads properly, navigating assigned routes independently, and adhering to all safety regulations with minimal client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate low boy and flatbed trailers safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper load securement for transport
- Navigate local and regional routes accurately
- Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficient in CDL driving and vehicle inspection
- Knowledge of load securing techniques
- Experience in route planning and safety procedures
- Strong time management skills
- Customer service and communication abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
