Travel Physical Therapist - $3,046 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 26‑week contract in Clovis, NM starting 06 July 2026. Travel experience required. Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: 07/06/2026 Length: 26 weeks Openings: 2 Wages: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, tax‑free stipend (amount to be confirmed) Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient and outpatient settings for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. In pediatric PT assignments, assess motor development, strength, ROM, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait in patients from birth to 18 years old. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate across departments involved in patient care. Float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles as required. Maintain a productivity expectation of 10 patients per day. Use Epic EMR; training is available for those without prior experience. Requirements Minimum 2 years current experience in physical therapy. Both inpatient and outpatient experience required. At least one completed 13‑week travel assignment; first‑time travelers will not be considered. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred. Active New Mexico PT license required if applicable. BLS certification through AHA, AHSI, or American Red Cross required. For pediatric assignments: at least 1 year of pediatric PT experience required. Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer skills required. Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible. Former employees of this health system must wait one year before being considered as a traveler.
