Responsibilities Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service. Covers all assigned routes within the station’s service area and provides related customer service functions. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED. Minimum Experience Six (6) months courier experience preferred; must be able to demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred. Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials. Job Conditions Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements for the assigned vehicle and have a good driving record. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safely. Preferred Qualifications Starting pay $22.30. Pay Starting pay $22.30. Working Hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
