Tax Accountant

Randstad has partnered with an established, highly respected CPA firm in Las Vegas to hire a detail-oriented Tax Professional to join their permanent team. Unlike traditional seasonal positions, this is a year-round role designed for someone seeking consistent, steady work and long-term stability. You will work directly with a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients, delivering strategic tax prep and planning.

salary: $45,000 - $85,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Accurately compile and file Individual, S-Corp and Partnership returns.
• Review, categorize, and organize client financial documentation with strict attention to accuracy.
• Proactively identify eligible credits, deductions, and strategic tax-saving strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Maintain professional, welcoming, and prompt communication with clients to clarify financial records and retrieve missing documentation.
• Resolve IRS and state tax notices on behalf of clients.
• Verify that all prepared returns strictly adhere to evolving federal and state tax regulations.
• Maintain meticulously organized and error-free client files to ensure complete audit compliance.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation.
• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA license (or actively pursuing) is preferred
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a reliable work ethic.
