Apex Systems has a challenging career opportunity for an Informatica ETL developer with a few years of hands on work experience. This position requires a foundation of ETL development knowledge, and the ability to work in an agile team environment. You should be adaptable, possess a strong ETL developer knowledge, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, data modeler, technical operations and other platform personnel.

Location: Oaks, PA (this role requires 3 days' working on-site in Oaks, PA) Industry: Financial/Investment Duration: 1 Year+ Contact

The individual needs to be able to work in a fast paced and rapid deployment environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x (Mappings,Workflows and transformations) code based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process
• Experience in extracting data from flat files, API’s, RDBMS and other source systems
• Produce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements
• Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL server Management Studio
• Design and develop ETL solutions using data integration tools for interfacing between source application and Enterprise Data ware house
• Provide technical support to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about data or database
• Interact with technical leads, team members and Dev managers as required to address technical and schedule issues.
• Performance tuning of the ETL process and SQL queries, recommend and implement ETL and query tuning techniques

What You Bring To The Table:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or applicable programming area of study
• Minimum of 7 years prior work experience working with PowerCenter 10.X; must demonstrate experience delivering projects from inception through implementation
• Proficiency with software development processes including quality assurance, code management and Agile Development.
• Proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of Informatica workflows.
• Experience developing Informatica power center mappings, reusable transformations and workflows
• Understanding of stored procedures and scheduling tool is a plus.
• Knowledge in Bit bucket or any Source code repository and deployment tools like TeamCity/Octopus is a plus.
• Knowledge/Experience in Agile development

Required Skills: On-site is required 3 days per week in Oaks, PA from first week - do not send remote only candidates!!! 8 years minimum of post graduate IT experience (not unpaid internships or "working while in college" jobs) 5 years of Informatica PowerCenter 10.
