We supply printed plastic bags to major manufacturers in the US, in markets such as: Bakery, Ice, Consuming products, Tortilla and Lawn & Garden.**Position Description:**This person will provide technical assistance to customers and the sales team. Support quality control, sales, and R&D departments by providing on-site technical expertise related to customer complaints and approval processes.**Du****ties:*** Assess packaging equipment set up and performance.* Evaluate how SPRs films and bags run on various lines.* Troubleshoot and identify opportunities to improve product compatibility and efficiency.* Lead root cause investigations for quality control claims.* Collaborate on product development and improvement initiatives.## Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry* The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge* Ability to interact confidently with operators, engineers, plant managers and purchasing teams.* Will work cross functionally to enhance product performance and strengthen customer relationship* Provide opportunities for SPR’s flexible packaging and agriculture solutions.* Positive and energetic individuals that can work well with all levels of an organization; must be able to get along well with others and willing to work long hours when needed* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment* In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint* Experience with industrial packaging equipment is preferred but not required.
