Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Fleet Management TechnicianThe purpose of this job is to perform preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs to heavy equipment with a variety of gasoline and diesel engines. Responsible for preparing work orders and the requisition of parts and equipment for repair.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Diagnoses and repairs trucks and equipmentPerforms all necessary repairs to maintain the fleetOrders the correct parts to repair unitsDocuments equipment or truck repairs and repaired times electronicallyProvides preventative maintenance services of all heavy equipmentLooks up and requests parts as neededKeeps and maintains a clean work environmentPerforms related work as requiredThis position is 2nd Shift. Hours: 2:00 pm to 12:00 AM, Days: Four, 10-hour workdays.
