Exciting OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist Position Available

Our organization is currently seeking both full-time and part-time OBGYN generalists/hospitalists to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at a prominent Los Angeles County medical facility, which serves as a key teaching hospital for a renowned medical school. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our patients. The OBGYN Generalist Division is expanding rapidly and currently comprises 9 full-time faculty members, along with several part-time roles and advanced practice providers. In this role, attending physicians will serve as primary care providers while also supervising residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient environments. This position offers the potential for an academic faculty appointment at the associated medical school.

The OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional care within a collaborative team framework
• Enjoying a flexible yet structured schedule, including the option for 12-hour shifts
• Providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services for inpatients, including management of high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, emergency consultations, surgical procedures, and postoperative care
• Performing both routine and advanced procedures, such as vaginal and cesarean deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and necessary emergency interventions
• Offering care in our outpatient OBGYN clinics
• Participating in departmental meetings and educational conferences
• Engaging in ongoing education and training to remain updated on the latest OBGYN practices and technologies
• Contributing to the education and supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
• Assisting in the development of clinical protocols and participating in quality improvement and research initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

We are in search of a dedicated, skilled, and professional individual who meets the following criteria:

• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
• Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Exceptional patient care abilities
• A strong passion for medical education
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a team
• Exhibit empathy, warmth, and inclusivity, serving as a role model for faculty, residents, and students
