Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Related Field. OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Performs diagnostic general radiology procedures utilizing various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate, including by means of existing IV line or by performing venipuncture. Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and uses web servers and email systems to send exams for preliminary readings after hours. May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department for which licensure is held and complies with cross-trained modality job descriptions.

Shift & Scheduling: Friday-Sunday schedule. Holiday shifts required.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
