Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Keller, Texas

This Per Diem Staff Pharmacist position offers the opportunity to work within a Retail and Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy environment utilizing Computer Rx systems. The role focuses on accurately verifying 150-200 prescriptions daily and administering immunizations, supported by ample technician and register assistance. This position is ideal for pharmacists with retail experience seeking flexible, intermittent workdays.


Schedule:

• 04/12, 04/26, 05/03: 12:45 PM - 6:15 PM
• 05/01, 05/04: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions efficiently and accurately, handling a daily volume of 150-200
• Administer immunizations following established protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and register personnel to facilitate smooth operations
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies in a retail and LTC setting

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Valid immunization certification required
• Proven retail pharmacy experience with familiarity in prescription verification and customer service
• Comfort working within Computer Rx or similar pharmacy systems
