Overview DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. About The Role: In this role, you’ll manage a 5–15k sq ft distribution center, lead the local warehouse operating team, and ensure we maintain high quality for our customers. You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will… Responsibilities Lead: Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Shift Leads (3+) and Operations Associates (6+). Build a strong, positive culture and drive high employee satisfaction. Partner with Shift Leads to delegate daily tasks and ensure high performance across the team. Own: Manage day-to-day operations of one DashMart warehouse, including light-prep kitchen in some locations. Ensure processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Oversee scheduling and labor budget; ensure site-level metric goals are met. Delight customers: Lead the team to provide an excellent experience on every order. Maintain key quality metrics such as order accuracy and fulfillment speed. Collaborate with central teams (inventory, training) to equip the team with tools and resources to achieve goals. Strategize: Use data to identify pain points or inefficiencies. Design, build, and execute process-improvement projects to enhance warehouse operations, quality metrics, and the employee experience. Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of team leadership experience in high-volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfilment, logistics, or operations) with a track record of developing people and delivering results. Proven leader with experience managing high-performance teams of 10+ employees. Ownership mindset; ability to support a 24/7 business across multiple shifts and take ownership of a new and rapidly growing business. Problem-solving from first principles; comfortable solving problems in innovative ways and challenging traditional approaches. Comfort with ambiguity; thrives in rapid change and startup environments. Analytical; data-driven with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas, pivot tables). College degree or relevant professional work experience. Flexible schedule with some late-night and weekend availability to support the site and team. We expect this position to be filled by 9/13/2026. Compensation & Benefits The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized by work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the role offers opportunities for equity grants. For hourly roles: vacation accrual and paid sick time accrual described in detail (e.g., about 6.7 hours/month for 40 hours/week; 2.9 hours/month for 20 hours/week), with specific accrual rates listed inline for clarity. The national base pay range for this position in the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $64,800—$95,300 USD .
