Market Manager – Baileys Crossroads The Market Manager leads an Ambassador team across an average of 1‑3 branch locations, ensuring exceptional customer service, community engagement, and continuous improvement of the branch experience. Responsibilities Manage talent and resources across 1‑3 branches, supporting a diverse customer base. Travel within district and region to support a cluster of branch locations. Multi‑task and empower Ambassadors to operate independently when not on site. Mentor and develop Ambassadors professionally and personally, driving high‑performing teamwork. Maintain a welcoming physical branch environment and coach team members on guest experience. Champion continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging discovery and fresh ideas. Ensure accountability through purposeful behavior and recognition of associate performance. Act as a role model for Capital One’s values (Excellence, Do the Right Thing) and support branch change‑management efforts. Serve as a product expert, handling escalations or complex sales referred by Ambassadors and participating in performance discussions with small‑business and commercial partners. Lead a team focused on exceeding customer‑based goals and metrics, demonstrating a franchise‑ownership attitude. Serve as a customer advocate, providing timely assistance and clear guidance to all clients. Engage with local businesses, nonprofits, and charities to plan events and strengthen community ties. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 2years of retail, sales, or banking experience. At least 1year of management or supervisory experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred: 4+ years of customer, retail, or financial services experience. Preferred: 2+ years of people‑management experience. Compensation Salary range: $104,500–$115,500 (Bailey’s Crossroads, VA). Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
