Job Title: Belt Technician Job Description

As a Belt Technician, you will customize heavy-duty belts and rubber components to meet specific customer requirements, working both in-house and at customer sites. You will receive extensive ongoing training, regular feedback, and strong support to help you achieve both organizational and personal goals. Your work, performed independently and as part of a team, will directly influence customer satisfaction and overall business performance.

• Customize and fabricate heavy-duty belts and rubber components according to customer specifications.
• Perform installation of belts and related components at company facilities and customer sites.
• Use hand tools and shop tools safely and effectively for cutting, assembling, and finishing belt products.
• Troubleshoot belt systems and related mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Assist with general production tasks, including assembly and fabrication work as needed.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing products for shipment and handling incoming materials.
• Follow work orders and instructions accurately, ensuring all jobs meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the shop and at customer locations.
• Work at heights and in tight spaces when required to install or service belt systems.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors and customers to ensure smooth job execution.
• Use basic computer systems to record work performed, track jobs, and complete required documentation.
• Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and verify dimensions for belts and components.

• At least 1 year of proven experience in field service work, maintenance, or other hands-on labor.
• Strong mechanical background and aptitude for working with tools and equipment.
• Experience with general labor tasks in a production or industrial environment.
• Ability to use hand tools and shop tools safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating, and verifying dimensions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including use of proper English and grammar.
• Organization and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely.
• Ability to work at heights and in tight or confined spaces.

• Experience in fabrication, assembly, or production work.

The position can be physically demanding, requiring lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights or in tight spaces. Work hours may include overtime opportunities based on workload and customer needs, offering the chance to increase earnings while supporting customer operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kimberly, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
