Spirit Defense - Senior Executive Assistant

Job Title

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to multiple executives and site leadership team
• Performs various tasks contributing to office organization and efficiency
• Prepares and distributes correspondence, reports, forms, and presentations; manages phone calls, email and access to executive; schedules and coordinates meetings, business travel and expense reports
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion
• Exercises good judgment with strong written and verbal communication and ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
• Event and visitor management, including but not limited to badging, escorting, agendas, bios, catering
• Must be able to anticipate needs, have a positive jump right in attitude
• Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills
• Propensity to model and encourage fair, respectful, and positive etiquette

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Wichita, KS location

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• High School Diploma and/or GED
• 10+ years of related experience
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access
• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Experience working in a confidential environment
• Experience coordinating domestic and international travel
• IAAP certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)

Summary Pay Range - Senior Level (Level 4): $62,750 - $96,2000

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
