Operating Room Nurse (Circulator)

The Operating Room Nurse (Circulator) plays a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in operating room procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning and delivering patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, operating room technicians, and other healthcare personnel.
• Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for surgical cases.
• Maintain effective communication with patients' families during surgical procedures.
• Update and manage physician preference cards to ensure efficient surgical operations.
• Assist with scrubbing and support physicians during surgical interventions.
• Supervise and guide personnel involved in delivering patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of operating room experience is required.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care according to regulatory standards and best practices.
