Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiologists

Our organization is actively looking for Fellowship-trained, Board-Certified, or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologists to fill full-time roles within our Cardiology team in Albany.

About the Position

Join a hospital-based Cardiology practice that boasts a team of over 25 physicians and advanced practitioners. We cater to patients at two hospitals: St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, along with several outpatient facilities throughout the capital region, including Albany, Troy, Clifton Park, Saratoga, and Wilton, NY. Our practice offers a wide array of services, such as:

• General Cardiology
• Echocardiography
• Vascular Ultrasound
• Vascular Clinics
• Nuclear Cardiology
• Electrophysiology
• Interventional Cardiology, including Structural Heart procedures

Candidate Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
• A keen interest in Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Outstanding clinical and communication skills
• A dedication to team-oriented, patient-centered care

Recruitment Package

We provide a competitive base salary with potential earnings through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses:

• Base Salary: $600,000 per year
• In Year 2, Cardiologists can join a Pool Model where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members, contingent on meeting annual RVU thresholds.
• The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, or other cash compensation relevant to the role.
• Providers typically receive a CME allowance and additional benefits from their medical group employer.

Bonuses and Benefits

• Starting Bonus: $75,000
• Retention Bonus: $25,000
• Relocation Assistance: $25,000 (for those relocating from outside the capital region)
• Fellowship Compensation: Up to $100,000 per year for early sign-on (disbursed as a monthly stipend)

• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage
• CME time and expense allowance of $4,500 annually
