Job Opportunity: Neuro-Oncologist

Our organization, in partnership with a leading cancer center, is initiating a nationwide search for a dedicated and dynamic Neuro-Oncologist to enhance our program.

The ideal candidate will be a physician-scientist with a strong passion for both treating patients with neurological cancers and advancing clinical trials and translational research initiatives. Applicants should have completed specialized training in neuro-oncology and hold board certification or eligibility in either medical oncology/hematology or neurology. The selected Attending will collaborate closely with leadership across various departments, including the Cancer Center, Neurology, Medical Oncology/Hematology, Neurosurgery, and Radiation Oncology, to further advance the Neuro-Oncology program. Additional leadership roles may be available depending on the candidate's experience.

The center connects patients with 11 specialized teams focused on researching and treating specific cancer types, ensuring that each patient's care is thorough, personalized, and aligned with our mission to promote holistic healing—addressing the body, mind, and spirit.

Loma Linda is celebrated as the only Blue Zone in the United States, fostering a family-oriented atmosphere with a strong commitment to health and wellness. Located in Southern California, between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, our institution is situated in the Inland Empire, at the base of the San Bernardino mountains. This prime location offers easy access to beaches, skiing, hiking, and a variety of outdoor activities. The region boasts a low cost of living and excellent educational opportunities through both private and public school systems. Faculty members may also qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $290,000 to $355,000, adjusted according to years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation policies. Detailed discussions regarding compensation will occur during the recruitment process.
