Accounting and Costing Associate

O VERVIEW: Adam Vaillancourt Roofing LLC is a successful and fast-growing local roofing company. We are looking to expand our Finance department by hiring an Accounting and Costing Associate. This position will be on-site in Milford, NH. As part of our team, your primary duties will be to process invoices and payments, assist with reporting, and complete job costing for our roofing projects. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Process daily credit card and vendor invoices, posting to appropriate accounts or customer projects. Ensuring that supporting documentation is maintained. Post customer payments and deposits by posting daily checks, credit cards, finance, and cash receipts. Job costing daily production. Analysis of pricing discrepancies Analysis of production accuracy Posting inventory Ensuring continuity between CRM and Accounting software Interdepartmental feedback with Sales, Production, and Office AR Collections Weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting and analysis Inventory account maintenance in CRM and Accounting software Propose required journal entries to management. Assists finance manager with month-end close. Assists with year-end audit preparation. Participate in the development of and ongoing reporting of KPIs for internal and external reporting requirements. Maintain and develop standard operating procedures. Ad Hoc projects as required QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field

Or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Previous experience in trade and or manufacturing desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage
