No weekends requiredPosition Location: 2 in office days (Hybrid work schedule) at Sentara Park 1300 in Virginia Beach.Insurance Premium Payment AssociateResponds to record and process telephonic payment inquiries throughout the day in a higher volume call queue environment. Responsible for taking both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsible to work in multiple computer programs at a time. Must be able to maintain a high level of service to customers while managing changing volume demands of the call center.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentCertification/LicensureNo specific certification or licensure requirementsExperience1-year customer service experience REQUIREDPayment and or Billing experience in healthcare is highly preferredComputer skills & strong verbal skills in English REQUIREDMust have experience in a call center & be detailed-oriented highly preferredHealthcare environment experience a plusReliable transportation essential to success in roleSentara Health Plans provides health plan coverage to close to one million members in Virginia.
