Insurance Claims Recovery Specialist
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and review of denied claims to recapture revenue. Ensures that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date of service and/or billing.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Research and recovery of denied insurance claims.
- Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Secures precertification, preauthorization, and referrals.
- Researches, communicates and collects copay/coinsurance obligations.
- Completes Insurance Notifications.

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: None Preferred: One year of medical office/hospital registration/patient accounting experience
