Marketing Production Support Lead w/ $500 Sign-on Bonus! (LATAM, Remote)

The Opportunity We’re hiring a Marketing Production Support Lead to serve as the operational anchor of the CRM and Promotional Operations team at a high-growth consumer technology company — functioning similarly to a Site Reliability Engineer for marketing: owning live campaign monitoring, on-call triage, incident command, and root-cause analysis for post-launch errors, while also managing a team of 4+ QA specialists and enforcing the operational standards that keep high-visibility, budget-critical campaigns from going wrong. Your time will be split approximately 50% team leadership and escalation management, and 50% hands-on advanced technical QA — this is not a traditional pre-launch QA role. It requires someone who is highly autonomous, technically rigorous, comfortable holding a distributed team accountable, and decisive under pressure when production issues arise. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like Team Leadership & Accountability: Manage daily operations and serve as the primary escalation point for a team of 4+ QA specialists — leading daily stand-ups to assess workloads, reallocate tickets, and manage expedited requests; enforcing strict SLAs, task accountability, and end-of-shift status reporting; and taking decisive management action when expectations are missed. Production Support & Incident Management: Monitor live production campaigns and act as incident commander for on-call triage and rapid resolution; conduct root-cause analyses on post-launch errors and communicate findings and remediation plans to cross-functional partners and leadership; and serve as the final gatekeeper for urgent, high-visibility, or C-suite-directed campaign requests to mitigate financial risk. Technical Operations & Advanced QA: Audit, update, and schedule complex digital campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and promo code engines; use SQL to verify target audience sizes against promotional logic and validate that large-scale marketing budgets align with business guardrails; and deep-dive into campaign assets to validate HTML/CSS, copy accuracy, and advanced dynamic targeting strategies. Process Optimization & AI Enablement: Maintain and optimize QA checklists to incorporate new product features and marketing surfaces; analyze error trends to build targeted training documentation; leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate triage and live-campaign monitoring; and champion AI adoption across the team by coaching team members on integrating these tools into daily workflows. What You Bring CRM & Production Support Experience: 3+ years in technical operations, production support, or advanced QA within CRM ecosystems — with 3+ years of hands‑on technical experience inside enterprise-level ESP/CRM platforms; Braze experience is highly preferred. People Management: 2+ years of formal or informal people management experience with a proven track record of enforcing accountability, managing performance, and building trust with a distributed team. Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency required for audience validation; working knowledge of HTML/CSS for campaign asset validation; strong Google Sheets and/or Excel skills for operational workflows. Financial & Promotional Guardrail Experience: Direct experience auditing promotional budgets or managing campaigns with high monetary impact — with the judgment and decisiveness to act as the final gatekeeper under time pressure. Communication & Leadership Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable delivering clear status updates to executive leadership and holding firm on quality standards with execution teams simultaneously. Bonus Points if: You have prior experience in the tech sector, high-growth startups, or supporting app‑centric digital products. You have familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and ticketing systems such as Jira or Asana.
