Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to work at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI on 3rd shift (Sunday – Wednesday, 8:00pm – 6:00am) with rotating weekend and holidays. Potential for flexible scheduling. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform mandatory administrative and clerical duties as required Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications and Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Certification or training program must come from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience) Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Benefits Employees working 20 or more hours per week eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees working less than 20 hours eligible for 401(k) plan only Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Employment Opportunity Labcorp is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
