Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.The IR Registered Nurse assists the Radiologist with procedures performed in the IR Department.The patient population contains adults, geriatric and pediatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.QualificationsJob Requirements:Completion of Associates Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor/Master of Science in NursingMust maintain current Texas RN LicenseBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient careACLSPALSPreferred Job Requirements:One-year critical care or procedural experience
