Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather essential background information and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions that focus on a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other emotional difficulties.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community service providers, to ensure holistic support and comprehensive care for your clients.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as workshops and training, to stay abreast of the latest industry best practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Actively contribute to practice improvement initiatives, proposing ideas and strategies that enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a multitude of emotional and psychological challenges. Your focused attention on personalized care will empower clients to navigate their difficulties, move towards recovery, and achieve their mental health goals in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and active professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated ability to support clients in managing emotional challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a positive therapeutic alliance with clients.
\n
• While experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred, it is not mandatory for consideration.

• Previous experience in an outpatient or private practice setting is an asset.

• Exposure to group therapy facilitation and methodologies.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 , commensurate with experience and hours worked.
