Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in daily inventory management, order processing, shipping/receiving, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. The ideal candidate takes initiative, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and works well in a team-focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment

• Order Preparation: Accurately pull, lay out, and stage customer orders for pickup or shipment.
  
• Shipping & Receiving: Load and offload delivery trucks safely and efficiently; put away incoming stock in proper designated areas.
  
• Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts, track inventory levels, and help maintain accurate stock records.
  
• Department Support: Assist across various warehouse areas as directed by supervisors (e.g., Receiving, Staging, Pick-Up Counter, Pipe/Materials Shop).
  
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding, courteous service when interacting with customers at pick-up counters or delivery points.
  
• Maintenance & Quality: Maintain a clean, organized work space. Proactively identify and report quality issues, inventory errors, or operational mistakes.

Safety & Compliance

• Uphold the highest safety standards by strictly adhering to all legal and workplace safety protocols.
  
• Regularly inspect equipment and work areas to detect hazardous conditions.
  
• Take immediate corrective action or report unsafe conditions to management to ensure a safe environment for all team members.

Teamwork & Professionalism

• Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain consistent communication with management regarding attendance.
  
• Adaptability: React positively to changing daily priorities and step in to perform various job-related functions as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, physical labor, or a customer service environment.
  
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the workday.
  
• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to get to and from work on time.
  
• Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, basic problem-solving abilities, and strong verbal communication skills.
