About This Role Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles to live freely. Compass Health Center is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join our team in Oakbrook, IL. We are passionate about addressing the nationwide behavioral health crisis and leading interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. The psychiatrist will autonomously create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient. What You'll Do Provide daily care for patients in our PHP/IOP programs ages 18+ Conduct psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, prescribe medication, and provide therapy Lead experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and recommend overall treatment plans Collaborate with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists Who You Are Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Illinois Licensed or able to obtain Illinois Board of Medical Practice licensure Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Illinois Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment Benefits For eligible positions, benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, a 401(k) program with company matching, generous PTO (including competitive parental leave after one year of employment), and continuous training through CEU seminars and volunteering opportunities.
