Job Description:

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in a challenging role in the dietary department? As a Dietary Supervisor at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dietary department and report to the Dietary Director. This full-time, day or evening shift position offers a competitive salary range of $17-$19/HR

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the kitchen during scheduled shifts, ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols are followed
• Ensure safe food handling practices and staff adherence to facility policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain departmental work schedules
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operations
• Hold daily huddle meetings with staff to discuss department goals and objectives
• Follow all dietary and facility-wide policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Food service experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and maintain a positive attitude
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Valid New York State Food Service Manager's Certification preferred
