Technical Service Ambassador
Required Skills & Experience: Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment. 3+ years of technical field service, maintenance, or equipment support experience. Hands-on experience performing break/fix support, hardware repairs, and equipment upgrades. Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients. Experience training end users and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and travel 55-75%. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physical installation and maintenance work.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience: CRM, quoting software, or forecasting experience. Experience providing break/fix support and hardware upgrades. Active passport for potential international travel. Industrial equipment maintenance and operations experience.
Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Technical Service Ambassador for a leading industrial technology and equipment solutions client. This individual will serve as the face of the organization at customer warehouse and fulfillment facilities, building strong relationships while helping customers maximize the performance, safety, and longevity of battery-powered mobile workstation equipment. The role combines technical field service, customer training, consulting, and account support responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable traveling extensively, conducting equipment evaluations, troubleshooting technical issues, delivering hands-on training, and partnering with customer operations and maintenance teams to drive operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who thrives in customer-facing environments and enjoys a mix of field service, relationship management, and technical consulting.
Compensation: $85-$95k Annually. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
