Job Description
Title: Progressive Care Nurse

Schedule: Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:
- Active State of HI license required by the start of the assignment
- At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
- Preferred experience in Progressive Care and telemetry
- ACLS preferred
- Current PALS preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide primary nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret telemetry strips.
- Perform fingerstick blood sugar checks.
- Float to other acute units as needed, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
- Dress Code: Scrubs
