This is a Monday through Friday, daytime position , allowing you to enjoy your evenings, weekends, and holidays with family while building a rewarding career that truly makes a difference.

Whether you have previous DSP experience or are looking to begin a career helping others, we provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals develop independence, confidence, and life skills while creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting individuals with daily living skills and personal development
• Supporting community outings and recreational activities
• Encouraging independence while providing assistance when needed
• Monitoring the safety and well-being of assigned individuals
• Building positive relationships through encouragement and respect
• Implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
• Recording daily documentation and progress notes
• Observing and reporting behavioral or medical concerns
• Participating in team meetings and training
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Assisting with special activities and events
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

• Professional with strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about serving individuals with developmental disabilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Acceptable Driving Record
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain after hire)
• Medication Administration and Behavior Management Certification (training provided if needed)
• Successful Criminal Background Check
• Central Registry Clearance
• Current Physical
• Negative TB/PPD Screening
