Freight Logistics Associate

This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).

Wayfair's Operations organization is revolutionizing the customer experience through the development of a proprietary logistics network and optimization platform that manages the end-to-end supply chain, from overseas production to the customer's front door. What You'll Do:

• Manage processes and drive engagement with key cross-functional partners
• Leverage analytical methods and visualization to translate data sets into actionable insights to drive business decisions and outcomes
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and build reporting in Google Sheets
• Communicate regularly with cross functional partners to understand the health of Wayfair's supply chain network and determine ways to break down problems into action-oriented solutions
• Develop and drive adherence to sustainable long-term performance management frameworks to improve performance across multiple process paths in our supply chain
• Monitor key performance indicators and assess how we're making progress against our core metrics and OKRs
• Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams including Warehousing, Transportation, Technology, and Supplier facing teams

What You'll Need:

• 0-3 years of transferable experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• A strong interest in emerging technology and the ability to integrate generative AI tools (e.g. Gemini) into daily tasks to drive efficiencies.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI).

Team's Hiring: Destination Operations

The Freight Logistics Associate is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of freight haulage operations, ensuring the timely and secure transit of goods across the supply chain. This role involves close collaboration with carriers, warehouse personnel, and port authorities, as well as internal teams, to facilitate seamless logistical processes. The Freight Logistics Associate will analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to data-driven decision-making to optimize efficiency and minimize disruptions. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining robust relationships with external partners and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
