We are currently seeking Financial Service Representatives to join our team at our new Romeoville Branch. As the first point of contact for our members, you will play a vital role in creating positive member experiences while assisting with a variety of financial transactions and services. We offer a competitive compensation package and outstanding benefits, including: Competitive hourly pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on credit union or banking experience) Supportive and team-oriented work environment Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance Generous Paid Time Off and Holiday pay Discretionary yearly bonuses Pet discounts and other voluntary benefits Cross-selling incentives 10% employer contribution to your 401(k) Opportunity to help build and grow a brand-new branch Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to members Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments Educate members on products and services that meet their financial needs Open new accounts and assist members with loan applications Balance and reconcile cash drawers daily Address member questions and concerns professionally and efficiently Maintain the confidentiality and security of member information Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Promote ECU products and services based on members’ financial needs Serve members in a Member Service Representative capacity as needed Schedule & Location Requirements Available Monday through Friday between 8:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (occasional hours until 6:00 p.m.) Available Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The primary branch location will be Romeoville; however, based on business needs, employees may be required to work at any of our other five branch locations: Batavia Oswego Yorkville Aurora Montgomery Requirements Previous credit union or banking experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) Ability to become a Notary Public within 12 months of employment NMLS licensed or ability to obtain licensing Notary Public commission required within 90 days of employment. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Cash-handling experience Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support others Join a team that is committed to making a difference in the lives of our members and our community.
