RN - Mother-Baby / Post Partum

Registered Nurse - Maternity Unit

This position requires a night shift schedule (19:00 – 07:30) consisting of 3 × 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week.

The Maternity Unit is a family-centered, multidisciplinary care area dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. The unit offers high-quality antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care while promoting patient safety, education, and positive birth experiences.

Provide exceptional care that supports the physical, emotional, and educational needs of mothers, newborns, and families.

Float to Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as needed; experience with both is required.

Monitor and manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for patients.

Ensure effective collaboration among nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.

Perform fetal monitoring and postpartum care, ensuring adherence to best practices.

At least 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.

Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.

Fetal monitoring experience is required (certification not necessary).

Must be available to work at least 1-2 weekends per month; no holiday shifts required.
