Job Title Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) Location Asheville, North Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and related obstetric procedures Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems Operate Baxter infusion pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment Float to related units including MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed and upon approval Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required High-risk obstetric experience required Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Current BLS and/or ALS certification required Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required Preferred Experience / Skills Circulating experience in an obstetric or surgical setting Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality with strong team collaboration skills Why Join Us Join a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit within a nationally recognized hospital system that has earned top honors for clinical quality and nursing excellence Work within a supportive team environment on a well-staffed unit with a structured charge nurse model on both day and night shifts Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773765.
