Music Minister/Worship Leader

We are seeking a passionate Music Minister who specializes in blended worship to lead our music program, which consists of a choir, instrumental ensemble, and praise team. In this role, you will develop the music program to foster worship through hymns and modern praise songs. This position is part-time and flexible with no set schedule other than Sundays and Wednesday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead congregational singing during worship services, ensuring an uplifting and spiritual atmosphere.
• Select appropriate music that aligns with Scripture and enhances the message of each service.
• Rehearse once a week with the choir, band, and worship team to prepare for upcoming services and events.
• Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to plan meaningful worship services.
• Maintain musical equipment, oversee song arrangements, and ensure all performances meet high standards of excellence.
Experience

• Music experience and proven experience leading blended worship.
• Strong teaching skills to guide musicians of varying skill levels in both technical proficiency and spiritual understanding.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire teams, coordinate rehearsals, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members clearly and positively.
