Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated full-time generalist obstetrician and gynecologist to deliver comprehensive OB/GYN outpatient services at our health center located in Lancaster, CA. Ideal candidates will possess experience in prenatal care, surgical consultations, and various office-based procedures, including colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and endometrial biopsies. Although the role is primarily outpatient-focused, there is an opportunity to allocate up to 40% of your time to hospital-based services within the Department of Health Services. This may involve supervising residents in the clinic, providing labor and delivery coverage, and participating in gynecologic operating room activities. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and offer consultation and decision-making support as necessary. Strong candidates may also be fluent in Spanish and have experience in safety net health systems.

• Provide full-scope OB/GYN outpatient services in a collaborative group practice environment.
• Perform in-office procedures, supported by on-site ultrasound capabilities.
• Utilize available radiology, lab, and pharmacy services at the health center.
• Engage in direct patient care and contribute to academic initiatives with residents and medical students at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
• Participate in in-house OB/GYN call at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
• Obtain privileges for conducting major gynecologic surgeries.

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Possession of an active California state medical license or the ability to obtain one.

Located in the heart of Lancaster, we serve the Antelope Valley community, including Lancaster and Palmdale. Our Women’s Health Clinic provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, featuring outpatient gynecologic surgery and a robust prenatal practice.
