Sourcing SpecialistThe Sourcing Specialist is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, performance accountability, and compliance across the assigned supply base. This role translates supplier strategy into effective execution—managing day-to-day supplier activities, driving measurable performance improvements, and ensuring suppliers meet business, quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability expectations. The Sourcing Specialist will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and the supply base, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and supporting the Supplier Business Partner in executing long-term supplier development strategies.General Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee and manage daily supplier performance using data-driven KPIs and maintain accurate, up-to-date supplier scorecards.Proactively identify and coordinate corrective and preventive actions for supplier performance or delivery issues.Support regular, structured supplier business reviews, and provide performance analytics to facilitate informed decision-making.Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to align supplier performance with internal requirements.Monitor supplier adherence to contractual terms, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability commitments.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cost, quality, service, and innovation with suppliers.Maintain accurate supplier master data, records, and documentation in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems and other relevant platforms.Support the Supplier Business Partner in developing and implementing supplier development plans and category strategies.Contribute to supplier risk assessments and mitigation planning to ensure supply continuity and resilience.Facilitate onboarding of new suppliers, including compliance checks and system setup.Track and report on supplier-related savings, performance metrics, and strategic progress.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchasedProficiency in harmonized tariff schedule classification on materials and equipment for Imports/ExportsThe ability to analyze technical data in suppliers' proposals; good communication, negotiation, and mathematical skills; knowledge of supply-chain management; and the ability to perform financial analysesGood at planning and decision making and have an interest in merchandisingAnticipates consumer preferences and ensuring that goods are in stock when they are neededRequires resourcefulness, good judgment, and self-confidenceRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.3+years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain.Experience with SRM/ERP systems and supplier scorecardsPersonal Traits and Characteristics:Reliable, dependable, diligentHighly organized with good time management skillsAttention to detailAble to work under pressure and deadlinesAbility to multi-task and prioritizeEffective communication skillsPhysical Job Requirements:Ability to multi-task and prioritizeEffective communication skillsPrimarily sedentary work, involving prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerFrequent use of computer, keyboard, and phone for research, communication, and documentationAbility to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and candidatesOccasional standing, walking, or moving between office areas or meetingsAbility to attend on-site meetings, supplier visits, or career events as neededMay occasionally lift or move items up to 10–20 pounds (e.g., files, laptops, marketing materials)Ability to travel occasionally (if applicable to your roles)Accommodation:Candidates for the position should be able to perform essential job duties in described work environment with or without accommodation.
