General OR RN - Day Shift

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts (06:30 - 19:00), Monday to Friday. On-call required.

Job Description

The General OR RN will be responsible for circulating general OR cases. Experience in scrubbing is not required. Candidates must be able to handle 5-8 on-call shifts per month, including weekends, with holiday call requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Circulate general OR cases including Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, MIS, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Surgical Oncology.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in code response.
• Participate in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
• Must have SC or Multi-state RN license in hand prior to contract start.
• BLS certification required; ACLS is preferred.
• Previous experience with Level I Trauma Center is highly preferred.
