Junior Software Engineer

Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our intel team. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering mission-critical infrastructure cognizance. You will be tasked with aggregating data sources to create a clear picture of what infrastructure was requested, what infrastructure was deployed, and proactively alerting on any discrepancies. The team's application is used by subject matter experts to investigate, create, and iterate on best practices and deployment rules, and the team detects and surfaces cases where requested or provisioned infrastructure breaks those best practices and rules. Given the visibility and impact of this work, the team interacts with many stakeholders from across the organization and iterates as frequently as possible. As a Software Engineer I focusing on streaming analytics and ETL, you will design pipelines that transform infrastructure data into actionable insights and leverage AI to conduct analysis and rapidly develop new solutions. Responsibilities: Build streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Python) to process infrastructure data Develop ETL workflows to reconcile requested vs. realized infrastructure Apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate analysis and prototype new solutions quickly Ensure scalable and reliable data ingestion and processing Collaborate with full-stack engineers on integration and visualization of results. Candidates should have the following requirements: TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph 3 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
