Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Greensboro, NC | Progressive Care Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 45-bed all-private progressive care department with remote cardiac monitoring support
• Monitor and assess patients on the Progressive Care Unit, utilizing centralized cardiac monitoring resources
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members across nursing stations on a fast-paced unit
• Float to other system campuses as needed to support staffing needs
• Pass a compliance EKG exam prior to unit placement (2 attempts allowed)
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required (non-billable, average 2–4 hours)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; valid driver's license required to verify address
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a progressive care, stepdown, or IMC/PCU setting
• Familiarity with remote/centralized cardiac monitoring workflows
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses
