You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.Job SummaryWe're looking for a detail-oriented, team-focused Material Handler 1 to help ensure accurate and efficient loading of products for shipment from our Coral, Northport, AL facility! This role empowers you to stay adaptable, build strength, and champion safety every step of the way.Currently, the shift start time is 5am.Monday - Friday, some Saturdays or overtime as needed.Job Responsibilities:Locate and inspect products using shipping manifestsSafely load materials onto trucks by hand or with carts/dolliesSecure loads with wood and bandingVerify correct truck assignments using work ordersMaintain clean and organized shipping areasCommunicate effectively and follow company proceduresWhat We Are Looking ForFlexible schedule based on production and shipping needsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a teamMust wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots with met guard)Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. alone and 150 lbs. with a partnerComfortable working in non-climate-controlled environmentsWhat OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
