Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time licensed practical nurse to join our team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center. Location: Pinckneyville Correctional Center, Pinckneyville, IL 62274 Position Type: Full-time Hourly salary: $36.23/hour (plus $4/hour differential for evenings and $3/hour differential for nights). Job Category: Nursing Professional & Support Shift: Full-time day shift with rotating weekends. Schedule includes rotating weekends: Weeks 1 and 3 you will have Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday off. Weeks 2 and 4 you will have Monday, Friday, Saturday off. 4 shifts per week (2 x 8 hour, 2 x 12 hour). Responsibilities Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required. Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
