Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician (Admixture)-FloatAre you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer? Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician (Admixture) to join our team in our Dobson location.What You'll Do:Prepare and compound medications, including IV admixtures and chemotherapy, under supervisionReview medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and authorizationVerify insurance approvals before preparing medicationsAccurately calculate dosages and conversions (metric/apothecary systems)Maintain inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medicationsKeep detailed logs (temperature, controlled substances, protocol drugs, etc.)Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines for medication handling and disposalClean and maintain sterile compounding environments (hoods, equipment)Stay current with new medications and protocolsTravel between locations as neededWhat We're Looking For:2+ years of pharmacy experience, including sterile compounding (IV admixture and/or chemotherapy)Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and pharmaceutical terminologySolid math and dosage calculation skillsAttention to detail and commitment to patient safetyAbility to interpret prescriptions and follow protocols accuratelyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsOncology experiencePharmacy Technician certification (PTCB preferred)Experience with inventory control, purchasing, and dispensing systemsRetail pharmacy experience (a plus)Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training programWhy Join Us?We are the largest patient-focused cancer provider in the valley!Make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients facing cancer and other conditionsEnjoy a collaborative, respectful, and growth-focused work environmentAccess to full health benefits and retirement plansMust be willing to travel to other Ironwood locationsEqual Opportunity EmployerReady to make a difference?Apply today and become a vital part of a team that's changing lives—one patient at a time.
